Technical data:
All pictures were taken with a Canon A2 camera. Most pictures were
taken with Fujichrome Provia F-100 (RDP III) film, except a few were taken
with Fujichrome Velvia (RVP) film, the Mount Bonnell pictures were taken
with Kodak Kodachrome 64 film, "People waiting at the Congress Bridge"
and the last three pictures (inside the Texas State Capitol building) were
taken with Fujichrome Sensia II 400 film.. Most pictures were taken with
a Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens, with the exception of the following:
"Hamilton's Pool" was taken with a Tokina 20-35mm f/3.5-4.5 AF lens at
20mm; "People waiting at the Congress Bridge" and the Texas State Capitol
pictures were taken with a Canon EF 24mm f/3.5 TS-E L lens ("People waiting
at the Congress Bridge", "in late afternoon" and "at night" were taken
with the lens shifted); "Patch of Indian Paintbrushes and Bluebonnets in
LBJ State Park" was taken with a Canon EF 24mm f/3.5 TS-E lens and a Kenko
Teleplus Pro 300 1.4x teleconverter with the lens tilted; the last four
pictures (Texas State Capitol interior) were taken with a Canon EF 50mm
f/1.4 USM lens; most close-up pictures were taken with a Tamron 90mm f/2.8
SP Macro lens. A B+W circular polarizer was used in the following pictures:
"Waterfall at Hamilton's Pool", "Hamilton's Pool", "Tree at Circle C Ranch"
and "Spider Mountain near Inks Lake State Park".
All pictures were scanned using a Hewlett-Packard PhotoSmart scanner directly from slides. No cropping or digital manipulation was performed except some minor contrast and color saturation adjustments to match the picture attribute on the original slides. (the HP scanner is known to produce washed-out results when scanning slides) . What you see here is what you see on the slides.
